Inspirational Quote of the Day 11/08/2017

Hello all! I hope you’ve had a great week.

Today’s inspirational quote is one that speaks to me …

Anyone else relate to this?

Sometimes my mind is all over the place, there are so many things going on, so many things that I need to do.

However I think that without a “messy” (or untidy) mind, there is no room for creativity.

If things are too “put together” and neat, there may be too many constraints, and creativity may not flourish.

Does that make sense?

If not blame it on my “messy mind”!

Have a great weekend!

So true… every time I am focused on developing a new program, all around me are papers, pens, notes, perfumed candles, tea mugs, etc.
But I kind of like this untidiness. It makes me get into the mood of… working!
    Great article!

Totally agree with you there Jenny. It’s that creative right side of the brain vs the analytical left side of the brain theory. I have 2 children and one is the right side and the other the left. I love both of their unique individual qualities. 🙂

Completely Agree! I’m most creative and productive when I have an untidy mind haha! It’s crazy because I’m a complete planner addict, yet when I want to be creative, I have to go somewhere chaotic. It probably makes sense why I couldn’t write my college papers in a library, I had to go to the busiest place on campus to write my papers!

I love this and totally believe it to be true! I often think the same about my personal life, as I’m constantly being untidy! I think it’s a side effect of being creative 😉

This is so true, my mummy is a graphic designer and her head is full of ideas that she needs to mind dump them and write them all down and organise them. She likes being organised!

My mind is never tidy thats why I have a planner and a million notebooks scattered on my desk

I find it easier to write when everything is tidy, but my ideas definitely come to me when I’m among chaos.
