Herbal Essences Bio:Renew
Disclaimer: I received this product free of charge in return for an honest review. I was not and will not be paid for my review.
A few weeks ago, I applied to test out the new “Herbal Essences” Bio:Renew shampoo & conditioner, via SuperSavvyMe, as part of their SavvyCircle testing group.
I was chosen, and received a starter pack with full size shampoo bottles, coupons & info on the products themselves.
I tried out the “Repair, Argan Oil of Morocco” Shampoo & Conditioner, whilst I was away on holiday.
Thanks to its unique antioxidant fusion with aloe and sea kelp, the Herbal Essences bio:renew collection brings your hair back to life.
Argan Oil of Morocco Repair shampoo and conditioner contain no gluten or colourants, and restore your hair’s smoothness beautifully. It’s also pH balanced and safe for coloured hair. Experience the scents of fizzy citrus, exotic spices and creamy vanilla.

When it comes to my hair care, I usually mix it up, especially when comes to shampoos and conditioners, as I find when I stick the same brand, I either get bored with the scent, or want to mix it up a bit depending on what offer is on at the shops.
I’ve used herbal essences before and usually would stick to the camomile / Aloe Vera & passion-flower one (yellow/brown bottle), so wouldn’t usually stray further, and probably go on the scent first rather than the ingredients, unless I was looking for a particular type of shampoo / conditioner.
I was able to use this over the last few weeks and this my honest opinion:
- The scent: it is so rich and delicious, it’s a bit odd to describe a smell as “luxurious” but that is the best way I can describe it, I assume this is due to the Argan Oil. I’ve used Argan oil before, but only sparingly as a sample, but never on my hair. It’s supposed to have great benefits such as :
- The feel: after using this shampoo / conditioner on my usually fine, sometimes flyaway hair, I have noticed that it has become a lot softer and manageable. I rarely get knots (which I did easily as it is so fine) and find myself touching my hair more as it is so soft and feels thicker to the touch
- The look: I used these products while I was away on holiday, and near the sea, but noticed that my hair not looked thicker and fuller, but looked softer.
The only problem I found with it being so soft is it became so soft that it fell out of my hair clip (claw) sometimes when I tried to put it up! (It can be a problem!)
Used my @herbalessencesuk #biorenew #arganoil #shampoo – this has made my hair so soft and thick, very luxurious… ! #ajennysaved – matches my surroundings in paradise – aka – Cancun! . #letlifein #herbalessences #herbalessencesshampoo #herbalessencesconditioner #biorenewarganoil . #honestreview #review #sampleforhonestreview #supersavvyme #savvycircle #herbalessencesuk #repairshampoo #repairconditioner . #cancun #mexico #holiday #paradise
Overall, I would recommend this shampoo and conditioner, if feel like your hair has become a bit unmanageable, or needs a boost, this Herbal Essences Bio:Renew will do wonders!
